changes to office machines

A reminder, people...
Before changing ANYTHING about a machine in the office, check its
directory in /afs/sipb/project/office-machines to make sure your
changes will not conflict with the changes that are already installed.
After changing something about a machine in the office, note the
change in /site/CHANGES on the machine and in
/afs/sipb/project/office-machines/machine-name/site/CHANGES, and make
sure that there is enough information in
/afs/sipb/project/office-machines/machine-name to make the change
again from scratch if it becomes necessary to reinstall the machine.
I'm thinking right now of the machines which have had the test xdm
installed on them. I would appreciate it if each person who made such
an installation would record it in the CHANGES files on the machine
and in /afs/sipb/project/office-machines as soon as possible.
