Is there a difference between "Fed up" and "Catch up?"
Yes.
If I'm not
at the last article, it seems that catch up should only mark the
previous articles as read, and then let me read the rest, not mark
everything read and send me to the newsgroups menu.
It only does this if you do not have an article selected (i.e.
highlighted). As the description for "Catch up" says, "Mark all
articles (up to the selected article) in the current group as read."
If you haven't selected an article, it marks all of them read.
Also, Global Kill and Local Kill have identical descriptions.
No, they don't. "Local kill" says "in this group," and "Global kill"
says "for all groups."
