My god! You've got a primitive version of multics equal names for
Unix! Only 20 years later.
Actually, Ken pointed this out to me while I was writing the program.
From his description, I think the general form of my solution is more
powerful than the Multics solution. Of course, this may just mean
that I am very familar with Unix-style regexps and not at all familar
with Multics "equal names".
