when reading a newsgroup the buttons don't change to reflect
"reading a newsgroup" mode.
(I've discussed this with Henry, so this is just for the edification
of the other people on the list.)
Well, since you can't duplicate it, I'll have to ignore it for now --
let me know if you can get it to happen again and I'll take a look.
