I just found and started playing with xwebster. You probably already know,
but the use of the mouse buttons has problems. That is, you can use the
left button to get help. In the help window it says that any button will
remove the window. Well, that is true. However, if you use the left button,
the window will go away, but a new one comes up. If you use the right button,
the window will go away, but so does all of xwebster. I don't think that is
what was intended.
Likewise in the definition window, the right button causes all the xwebster
to go away, not just the definition.
I would guess that the problem is that the button mapping is global for the
application and not the window. If so, I would suggest using pull down
menus instead of buttons. That way you could use the cut&paste with
either the definition window or the near-miss window which would be a
real winner.
By the way, the README file in /mit/sipb is a bit out of date as is the
CHANGES file. It would be helpful to update them and to include the
address of this mailing list to report problems.
Thank you.
