this is more of a question i sent a messate in the africa social issued
discusson board and i'm not sure if it got where i sent it is it
possible to check
First of all, sorry it's taken so long for you to receive a response
to this message; I would have answered earlier, but I was away on
vacation.
Second, I'm not sure what you mean by "the africa social issued
discussion board". I assume you mean soc.culture.african, but if so,
it would have helped if you had said that.
Finally, if you post a message during the day, it should show up
almost immediately -- if you exit the newsgroup, click the "Rescan"
button, and then reenter the newsgroup, it should show up. If it
doesn't, it's possible that the news server is just slow, so give it
time. In fact, during the night postings don't show up for several
hours, and when the news server is really slow, you might not see a
posting of yours for a day.
If you post a message and it still hasn't shown up in a day, let us
know (by sending mail to "usenet") and we'll see if we can figure out
what the problem is.
