What are you saying, that there should be a Cancel button that the
user can hit *while* the program is posting the article?
That would probably be quite a pain in the ass to implement (it
would require xrn to watch for X toolkit events and continue
processing them intelligently while at the same time trying to post
the article, something that it does not currently do and would not be
easy at all to do), and it seems to me that the return on the
investment is minimal.
If you don't want to post an article, you shouldn't hit the Send
button. If you do hit the Send button, the send process gets beyond
the point of no return quite quickly. The effort required to do a
rescan and find the article you've just posted is minimal.
