I found a problem with xdvi.new....
if you do:
xdvi.new /mit/mwcassel/misc/spec.tex
then hit:
shrink4
then
next
you get a segmentation violation...
1) i was on an RT
2) but I was running xdvi from a another workstation (which was a VAX 2000)
3) I telnet'd to the vax and set my display variable to the RT and ran xdvi.new
Otherwise, everything was pretty standard ... I was running an emacs and
3 xterms.
