Sorry about taking ages to get back to you. I've been away, and don't
come to campus much these days. The gaim developers broke the build
system I was using, making it a bit of a hassle to compile. That said:

I've installed gaim v 0.66 released sometime in the past 2 weeks, for
sun4x_59 and i386_rh9, i.e. Athena 9.2 based on Solaris 9 and Redhat
9. To run it, type 'athrun im gaim-0.66' at an athena prompt. Backup
your .gaimrc and ~/.gaim directories, since it might change things in
a non-reversible manner. If you just run gaim, you'll get the older
version.

I haven't installed it, and won't be installing it for Athena 9.1
(based on Solaris 8, Redhat 7.x, and Irix 6.5.7) because of library
dependencies. If you login to one of these workstations, you won't
find it, though all cluster machines at least should be running Athena
9.2 now.

gtkzephyr hasn't had a release in about 3 years. I've been thinking of
fixing it up, and taking it over, but really haven't had the time to
do so :-)

If you have any bugs with gaim-0.66 , let me (via bug-im@mit.edu )
know what workstation you're logged into (to see which athena
sub-version it's running), and what error messages you're receiving.
