Unfortunately, this is currently an a rather nebulous unsupported area. Gaim
is maintained by SIPB, not IS&T, so questions regarding Gaim should be
directed to bug-im@mit.edu. RHEL 4 at MIT is still in the pre-release stage,
but you may have some luck directing questions to unix-linux-help@mit.edu,
although they are officially still supporting RHEL 3. Another option would
be to install Gaim on your machine, rather than trying to run it over dialup.
If you have any additional questions, please let us know! Otherwise, you
can close this question by typing "olc done" at an Athena prompt, or by
telling us via email. If we do not hear from you in one week, we will
assume that you are finished and remove this case from our queue.
Thanks,
Erica Peterson, OLC
