Try it now. A newer version of gaim which works with yahoo messenger is
now installed. I got the same error message with the older version (0.76),
and was able to connect successfully with the newer version (0.80). Let me
know if you're still having problems, or if this fixes your problem.

ymessenger is only installed for the Dell and IBM workstations running
Linux, and not for the Sun workstations, which include the athena.dialup
machines.
