Issues I think that may still be open in this area:
1) having user code and the autoloaded commands in the same namespace
especially given overloads for startup etc.
2) Do we want to polute the BarnOwl package with things like onStart?
I realize these are not strictly related to the changes you were
making. I just want to make sure they do not get lost.
