Hi Jeremy,

First off, thanks for the reload code located at:

/afs/sipb/user/jdaniel/project/owl/perl/reload.pl

It's been of great help to me over the past couple of years and really
got me into hacking at owl's perl configuration system. If you're
curious, you can see the results of that at

/afs/athena.mit.edu/user/a/s/asedeno/Public/owl

Recently a bunch of us (LIST:dirty-owl-hackers) have started hacking at
owl, trying to make its perl side more robust and powerful, tweaking its
C side in interesting ways, and making it even more extensible.

To that end, the core of the system I mentioned above (see owlconf.pl)
is being folded into owl's built-in perl module. That core includes a
derivative of your reload code, and questions about redistribution have
been raised by hartmans. So, the big question:

May we have your permission to redistribute that code under the terms of
owl's license? For reference, that license is included at the bottom of
this email.

Thanks,

- -Alejandro for "Those Dirty Owl Hackers"
