I took a look at the paper cutter tonight and tightened the hinge
mounting and the blade. That fixed the wobble that was in the
blade.

It's cutting nicely for 3 or 4 peices of paper, but any more than
that and it won't cut cleaning. Sharpenning the blade will solve
this. Can someone else deal with unmounting it and taking it to be
sharpened? (Joe?) That's not something I can get to for a few weeks
becaues I'm out of town on weekends.

The other issue with the paper cutter is that the safety latch that holds
the blade in place when not in use has broken off. Fixing that will make
it a lot safer to do things like move the cutter. Replacing the latch
pretty straight forward. A replacement can be made from a flat peice of
metal or fashioned out of wire. I think I have suitable materials around
and can work on that.

Let me know if you have any questions.
