Keshlam:
* URLS of easy/obvious to use in-inventory, ready-to-order shelving
that are easy to lift and lower. It be best, if no training was
needed to lower/move/lift such shelves. And it has to be easy for
one or two person to lower and lift 500lbs evenly - all four wheels at
once. They could well be moved by non-press-ops.
It's been clear since we put the lock-up table in the corner 45+
years ago, that adding wheels and lifts to it would be nice. But
not easy to do.
* Let me think more about the flat spot issue.

Just another thought re casters and flat spots and such... Another option would be to have casters, but actually have the unit lifted off them when not rolling, eg by a set of opposed wedges. Not all cabinet designs would permit this, of course.
(In my home workshop I'm considering a few variant of casters that lift off the floor when not in use.)
