Hi all,
If no one else has plans for the press, I'll be working tonight from around
8pm until midnight, and on Sunday from around 3pm or whenever I wake up
until late.
Also, while I was poking around looking for ornaments, I found several
bricks of Century Schoolbook 8pt upright. If no one objects, I'd love to
put this out in a case. There are a couple of cases that have bricks of new
(or maybe NOS) type that could be moved around to make room for it. There
are also a couple of bricks of fonts that are already out. I'm happy to
distribute them as well if they should be distributed (and of course if
they actually match what's already out)
I also noticed while distributing an old form that the case labeled 18pt
Bodoni Bold has two distinct fonts in it. They have identical groove marks,
and both are modern fonts with square-ish serifs, but the true Bodoni has
much narrower lines than the other font, which looks for all the world to
me like PT Barnum. Be aware of this if you print with Bodoni. I plan to go
through the case and sort the two fonts out from each other, but I won't
have time for that until the end of term, at the earliest.
