Hi those who pull carts,
BOTTOM LINE: wheels & other rotating parts will:
- last longer
- work easier
if they are kept lubricated.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is an oil can to the left of the large press, that is used to
oil both presses. OK to borrow some oil from the Press Shop.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I used the small metal cart, it was making a horrid migraine
inducing screech.
I oiled the wheel axles, and the front wheel ball bearings.
The cart now has a quiet purr.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It be good for the large cart's wheels & ball bearings to be
lubricated, when the heavy boxes are off it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Both carts would last much longer & pull much easier,
if this was done once a term.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It be better to use grease.
