Alex as a Journeyman

Hi Journeyman,
* First, we still need one or two journeymen to either do training or
qualifying runs. Might be best if Lori moved up to doing mostly
qualifying runs, as she has done more training runs recently than
anyone else.
Even if Alex becomes a journeyman (see below), it's unlikely she could
do the 4 to 6 training runs that have been typical for many Fall
semesters. It's also wise to do them in late September or October, or
pledges get too busy with academics to do training runs.
* Second, today, while we sorted type, Alex talked to me about becoming a
journeyman.
She wants to teach some of the training runs this Fall and Spring
during her senior year.
She plans to do four more runs this summer
- Invitations for Joyce on rough uncoated surface deckled edge paper
- 500 AXCoAPO letter head on MIT Bond (a rough surface paper)
- 500 AXCoAPO No. 10 envelopes
- a second run of the generic any term Reg Day/BookEx cards
If you have any other jobs, she could have the time.
These four would bring here to eight jobs total.
Her earlier jobs were
- Envelopes for PMD (training run by Lori)
- Personal Business Cards (qualifying run by Len)
- The first run of the generic any term Reg Day/BookEx cards with
Andrew
- Business Cards for RLE(?) with Andrew
No Large type jobs. No poster jobs. No mix-media jobs.
Alex has a very firm understanding of the need for safety first with
the Shop, and is a solid printer for someone who has just done four jobs.
Any one have comments about probably making her a journeyman at
summer's end?
Anyone want to suggest something else for her to do to become a
journeyman?
Anyone has objections?
