Hi Jen,
(again, I apologize for the delay)
We can do invitations, envelopes, and response cards as well. I'm not
completely certain on options for the response cards and I'll have to check
that in January.
We will have to set the type from new, so any format you would prefer
should be fine. We will need all the information you would like presented
on your invitation. I'm not an expert on wedding invitation formats, but I
can help you figure out what might look nice and there are probably other
more experienced shop operators who know. It is generally easier for us to
print all in one color, but if you would like multiple colors, we can do
that for an extra set-up fee.
Printing costs vary with each job. Basically, there is a setup fee and a
per-impression fee, in multiples of 100. The setup fee varies with the
complexity of the job, and the per-impression fee depends on the type of
paper used (you may either choose from our paper selection, or provide your
own). We can also order specialty papers at cost, but this postpones job
completion. In general, it costs $3.00 each time we must set up the press,
plus $0.10 per 100 impressions. This is to cover ink costs, and wear/tear
on the press. You can supply your own paper, or we can supply it at cost.
I'm not exactly sure right now what our prices for wedding invitations are,
but I can get back to you about that in January.
Do you guys live in the area? Would it be possible for you to come by the
office sometime so that we can go through some of the options?
YiLFS and Congratulations! :)
-Alex
