hi all

i wonder if MIT Facilities knows how much furniture is along windows
on the 4th floor?

depending on how much they need to inspect the window HVAC units,
curtains, and lights above the curtains:
when access is needed to the windows, the press shop usually unplugs=
 fan and
light; then moves them, stool, the shelves along the window, and the
lockup table into the aisle along the blue wall.
you need to be careful of the stuff on top of and under the shelves and
lockup table.
Xavier et al did this all, just fine, in the spring when the window
was broken
ideally, the press would be unplugged too, but that is harder.

might be wise to clear the rest of the stuff away from the windows
in both front and back APOffices.

if I'm in town, i be happy to come to campus and help.

Do we think this email is something we care about? (I picked it up off
sipb-office, who got it from someone else).
  =20
Perhaps we want to let the auditor know to take care around the printing=
 press
and not poke or disturb it.
  =20
It may also be nice to suggest they email all student groups in the buil=
ding as
well, since they may also have safety issues they want to raise. Just a
   thought.
