Hi Kristin!
Thanks for getting back to me! We are planning for a wedding in November, so
we have plenty of time. Depending on the wording, we can probably
letterpress a portion of it and then print the rest. Do you mean that for an
invitation and RSVP card, for 100 each would cost a total of $6.20
(excluding paper cost)? We have already purchased the paper for the
invitations, perhaps we can meet up sometime soon and I can bring a sample
and we can chat more about ideas?
Thanks!
Amy

Hi Amy,
Thanks for your interest! And congratulations!! :)
I can certainly give you information on cost and options. We can do the job
if a press operator is available (with more notice, this becomes more
likely!)
We definitely do wedding invitations. Programs might be harder, just because
our stock of type is a bit irregular - if there is a lot of text, we might
run out of the letter "e," for example. But, it depends on what you want to
do! So we can definitely take a look.
The main trade-off with using us, is cost vs time. We cost a lot less, but
we take longer because this isn't our full-time job! We also aren't
professionals, though I think our quality is still quite good. :)
Pricing information:
You are entirely responsible for the cost of the paper. We have some stock
on hand (~$20 per 100 sets of card/envelope) that you could purchase, but
not really anything nice enough for wedding invitations, in my opinion. I
could recommend some paper stores in the area, if you like.
As for printing, it costs $3.00 each time we must set up the press, plus
$0.10 per 100 impressions. This is to cover ink costs, and wear/tear on the
press.
We usually have to set up the press once for each color, and each card. So
if your invitations included an RSVP card, we'd probably need to set up
twice, and thus add another $3.
Amy, I hope this has been helpful. Let me know if you have anymore
questions. If you decide to make use of our services, please let me know
what your timing is - when you need them by, etc.
Thanks!
Kristin
