Hi Kate & press Shop

You asked what the Press Shop could live with in terms of chemical
storage outside the APOffice.

The real question, is how to make this work, so overly busy MIT
students, actually use such storage, and not leave solvent outside the
approved storage areas.

Beyond the points in the appended email:

* APO will need it's own locked space/locker/cabinet, with key(s) kept
in the APOffice, as AX does with the Silkscreen room now. Sharing
space between activities can lead to stuff 'disappearing'.

* We need to keep a push-push solvent dispenser, and the numbering
machines in the APOffice. They are used often enough, that they
need to be near the press.

* The rest of the press solvents need to be on the 4th floor
somewhere, in space kept at room temperature. They are used less
  frequently.

* It's possible that a corner of the existing silkscreen room could be
modified for solvent storage for the multiple activities that need
  it.

   Hi Kate

   * If/when storage outside of the APOffice is discussed:

** It be best for the press chemicals to be stored at room
        temperature and humidity.
This is definitely true for the numbering machines, which are stored
        in 'flammable' solvents.

** Will some limited quantity be allowed constantly in the APOffice.

Or will flammables only be allowed while they are in active use?

** The four darkrooms may already have some venting to the outside.
Mitch might know about the LSC darkroom.

The SAA kiln room also has some kind of venting to the outside.

Which raises the question, if there in some space adjacent to the
darkrooms/kiln room, that could be tied into those vents.
Assuming the existing vents are adequate for 'flammables'
venting. Or there is enough space to run a separate vent pipe up
        inside them.
