Would it make sense to purchase a new vise table of similar dimensions
to the current one, but with usable space (shelves, drawers)
underneath instead of diagonal legs? Then we could fill it with
massive stuff to make it more stable.
Interesting thought. But I'm not sure it's a wise use of Press Shop
or Chapter Funds
Similar to my thought to build shelving under it
Reuse might turn something up, though I don't remember anything ...
