hi catherio, rhkeeler, et al.

* Today, I moved the boxes of press stuff from under the long thin
table to the wooden shelves by the drop posters. I got the space,
  by packing the shelves tighter.

You might want to go through the drop posters, and see if any can be
  recycled.

Is quilting still an active service project? If not, there is a lot
of quilting fabric on those wooden shelves in the back office, that
  could be reused, or Goodwilled.

* Re: APOster press Shop stuff in the front APOffice:
Beside the small press, the invitation stock with shelves,
  and the filing cabinet drawer:

** The red-painted vise is important to the print shop. It is used
a couple of times a year to maintain the large press. I don't
see a way to get it and the table it's on into the back office.
Having it in the silkscreen room would be very sub-optimal. The
process is iterative, and can take dozens of tries.

The vise is also used to sharpen chapter tools, and other
     misc. tasks.

** I also need to sharpen pencils when I print, and prefer the
manual sharpener mounted on the same work table as the vise.
I should check and see if the electric sharpener works (but it's
     less green ; - )

Ok, thanks for the info! A few more questions/clarifications:
   > It be good, if someone who has moved the baby press, be around the
   > APOffice when it's moved.
I have moved it before and I remember the one-person-per-leg procedure well.
We'll take good care in moving it and any other heavy items.
   > When are you planning to move things around?
Probably next week. The WUAPO will be updated and mail will be sent when we
   decide.
   > It be easier for me, if they stayed under the long
   > thin table where they are now.
We may want to use the long thin table as a desk for people to work at, since
the chapter is clamoring for general-purpose table space to do homework at,
which is what's prompting this question.
   > But if you have to, it's OK to move

I think we will end up doing this - that is, moving them to the drop poster
   shelves.
   > * The "stationery" shelves (they hold invitation card and envelope

I don't think we will move them, but we wanted full information anyway.
   > Until then the baby press needs to be stored on

Is this so that it can be lifted safely? What specifically is the safety
issue of storing it *under* a table or desk?

We may change which filing cabinet it is in, or where the filing cabinet is
located, but thanks for the heads-up so we can let you know where it went.

   Thanks for the help/information!
