hi matt
be easiest to just leave the plus sign out
i assume you have looked in the grey painted case, nearest where the
10x15 chases are, and the dingbat case (lesser slanted case on blue
wall on top of 2nd bank of cases). you might check all the galley
trays of cuts by the sample cases
you could make one with 1 or 2pt rules, leads and 6pt 3-em spaces.
probably have to cut the rules and leads, and have the height off
center. decker and i did something like this on her train or qual run
(might have been a plus sign - check the log for kind of job, and look
for the sample? we might have left it around tied up - phone, text,
zephyr her? K Decker French <k_french@mit.edu>)
there are some +'s around (dingbat case?) maybe 12 pt. you might
carefully file the 4 ends down. i would use the vise out front, and
one of the tiny files - i last saw the files on one of the top shelves
to th right, in the tool cabinet nearest kresge
phone if you like +1-617-623-7739

Subject: 8pt plus symbol?
Does anybody know where I could find this in the shop? Needed for the
international phone number style on a business card, in 8-pt clearface.
