Hi all,
I'd like to advertise our printshop, silkscreening, drop poster, and 
ushering services at the events fair on Nov 3rd, as these are clearly 
services we offer that other groups can take advantage of for their events.

Is there anything else I haven't thought of we should advertise?

We also need a PC. Would any of you like to PC this event? (Fill out the 
form below, find a very small amount of manpower, gather and bring 
materials, and write a quick PC report?) Probably a quick + easy way to 
get your PC requirement done this term. =)

Dear Previous Events Fair Participant:

 

2010 marks the eighth year of Events Fair, which brings together event 
planners from across campus, allowing them to learn about all the campus 
has to offer in regards to events and event services.  Last year, we had 
21 MIT organizations participate, and over 200 staff and students came 
by to check it out.  This year the event will be in Lobby 13 on Tuesday, 
November 3rd from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.  We hope that your organization 
will participate again this year.

 

We will provide a table with 2 chairs, linen for the table, a table 
sign, and nametags for each participating organization.  We do not 
charge for you to participate or for the previously mentioned equipment; 
we are getting a donation of equipment to help this event remain free 
for vendors, so it is important that you respond early for us to arrange 
this donation.  You would be responsible for the materials which you 
bring for the table.  If you wish to bring your own linen let us know.  
You should not bring items or equipment that will exceed your table 
allotment.  If you are unsure about your setup, contact me to discuss.

 

Also, we traditionally have a drawing to make this event even more 
attractive to the MIT community.  CAC will be contributing several tech 
items, several CAC apparel items, a free rental of the mascot costume, 
and a free rental of CAC space.  Your organization is encouraged to 
contribute to the drawing.  All participants receive a copy of the list 
of folks who sign up for the drawing.

 

Please let us know whether or not your organization will be attending by 
Tuesday, 10/12/10 at noon.  We do have a limited number of tables.
