Hi brothers,
Anna and I will not be able to print the Reg Day Schedule Cards. The
type is set (see below).
If AX wants them, it be possible:
- to laserprint them 2 sided, using computers, as was done some
terms back. I left a copy of the last one done this back by the
the locked up job.
- find 2 or more press ops and a gopher or N to print them on the
letterpress. I left all the notes about the job next to the chase.
I have gotten progressively more fluey as I set the type today -
increasingly slowly. I very much doubt I could safely use the press
tomorrow. Anna is not available tomorrow, even if another journeyman
could finish her training run.
If a few press ops take this on, and you need some advice, please try
to call me at home. +1-617-623-7739.

Gophers:
You're needed to bend 3200 cards the other way. They are currently
bend up on the schedule side. They are impossible to pick up out of
the press this way.
One takes about 20 (a fifth of a package), and gently flex them so
they bend the other way, without creasing then. The bending wants to
along the longest dimension of the card.
You'll save the press ops a lot of time.
Then help press ops if needed.
Press Ops:
The lock up is preliminary. It needs to be proofed, especially as I
was ill when I set it.
Expect some of the type to drop out, until you have unlocked and
locked it up as needed, to replace bad letters, etc.
The job is already logged. Please remember to save a few samples.
