liz:
if they are pictures we have type-ready, you just use them.
other pictures need to be photo-engraved by an outside service.
expensive.
and we have to find a new service (the old one has closed), and can
take @ least a week and probably several
pictures with fine detail, half-toned or not, are hard to print well
in our shop
unless you are willing to hand cut wood. or linoleum. which has some
expense. you have to buy the linoleum @ pearl. if they still stock
it. the shop have linoleum knives, care needs to be taken using them.
wood needs to be very square/co-planer and the right height (.912
inches). we do NOT have wood carving tools, the linoleum knives don't
work on wood. i know of no one who has done either.
