really? I'm still supposed to be office manager? With all that time I'll
have next term, good to know :P
heh, in that case I shouldn't say that I don't really care so much and will
let the next office manager deal with it. hmmm it'd be good to organize
building of this, but it sounds like Len thinks it's more complicated and
just wants to do it himself. Is this true Len? It's just frustrating because
I've been rearranging the front of the office.
Also, that table is not very full right now. It's actually got a ton of
empty space on top of it for once; it's got the metal contraption that is
apparently the letter press and like one box of fabric on it right now.
Otherwise it's got a few boxes under it that are for silkscreening and
sewing stuff. It's actually much cleaner than it was for most of last term,
so I'm not sure what else you want it to be. Plus, that table is kinda for
the stuff that it currently has on it. Except the letter press, which
doesn't fit in with the rest of the stuff at all but is still ok there since
there's room there.
The cement blocks were going to be used this week, but then I realized that
a better idea is to move the couch-chair over to between the bookcase and
sewing desk than to elevate it like Liz! planned. Then I can set up the
shelves and cement blocks where the chair currently is. But I can't do that
till the wood is moved. Hence my initial email.
And I didn't mean that the office is a mess because stuff is left by the
door (which it really doesn't seem to be, at least this term and last since
I pledged); I meant that it has a bunch of random stuff it doesn't really
need: APO=packrat. As we acquire more stuff, there isn't really room for it.
That's all I meant. When I see stuff sitting around, I poke people. or just
clean it if it's easy. Let me know if you're in the office and notice there
being stuff just left by the door! I'm always happy to poke if there's a
problem:)
