Hi Mitch,
* Lori: I suspect 6 to 8 hours to do this as a training run. The
short and long outlines of how to do a job are still in the back of
the blue looseleaf.
* I can't print or do training runs until at least Tues 2 Oct and
perhaps Sat 6 Oct
* My life got even more booked and complicated in the last week.
Travel to help my Dad (he's 82). Prep to be a witness for a land
court case a neighbor has brought on a zoning issue. Work.
* If Lori can't train Thurs, you are welcome to (or not) give me the
pledge's eddress, and i'll make arrangements to train the pledge.
* If you'll still be away in October, and want to hand any part of the
LSC job over to me, please let me know the details and contact
person and eddress.
* It's been APOster policy for eons that we need three week's notice,
(optionally, or heavy late fees are imposed). I have always advised
clients of that, when I talk with them.
* After that. i'll get back to seeing if we can help benazeer with her
invites, building the small press cart, and putting old jobs back
into the type cases.

Subject: Len or Lori... can I beg you to do a training this Thursday?
Hi guys,
I've been left hanging by pretty much everyone involved in potentially
getting the LSC job done... that is to say that I've been pulling teeth
to get an order out of LSC, time constraints out of our potential trainee,
and also from Len.
LSC is finally coughing up the info I need. I basically told them that
I'll see what I can do about MunchiCards and MultiPasses, but that I
can no longer promise it'll happen this week, and that I can pretty much
guarantee that I won't get around to typesetting MovieCards this week.
Our pledge who wants to be trained has said she's available Thursday
anytime after 3... that would be ideal to get this job done in time for
LSC to have them this weekend, assuming a journeyman is available.
Unless Len responds saying he can do it, I have to assume that he can't
(and I know he hadn't been planning to be available until early October,
but he'd hinted that he might find time for the LSC job). I spoke with
Ellen last week, and she suggested that I might ask if Lori has the
time.
Any takers?
Mitch
