Hi Deb,

This is really up to Mitch Berger, the shop manager.
He also reads apo-printshop@mit.edu.

How many students?

Space in the APO letterpress shop is very, very tight. So tight, we
can only teach one APO member at a time.

It could get very tedious, giving tours to one or two students at a
time. Especially scheduling them.

I know the Mass College of Art over by the MFA on Huntington Avenue
has a letterpress program and sizeable shop with much more equipment
then we have at APO. It should be a much better facility for a tour.

PS: The MIT Lecture Series Committee has a sizable offset press
facility, that could easily handle a dozen students on a quick tour.

I don't know who you could contact.

Subject: CMS class to visit print shop in Fall?

   Hi,
I'm working with Prof. Nick Montfort this summer on his fall media workshop
class in Comparative Media Studies (CMS at MIT). I know he wrote earlier in
the summer because he was interested in having his graduate students come in
for a visit to the print shop. Would be this possible at all? Who would I
   coordinate this with? Thanks.

   Sincerely,
   Deb
