Hi All,
1) I be willing to supervise this as a training or qualifying run,
once CAC/Facilities is done in the back back APOffice, and we have
the shop moved back to where we can use it
Any takers?
2) http://web.mit.edu/apo/www/wuapo.txt doesn't have any Book Exchange
or Open Meeting dates on it yet.
3) It be best if we could print these a week or more before they are
needed. It is a very long job. For that we need the dates!
Thanx!

Subject: Reg Day cards
Three thousand (3000) Reg Day schedule cards, in two (2) bags, are next to
the coat rack in the APO office. I received them from Wayne Johnson in the
Registrar's Office. Each card has two (2) sides. Be aware that the cards
also tend to start out creased in one direction, which is not necessarily
the direction the printshop prefers to have them creased in.
Usually we print two kinds of information on the blank sides of the cards:
"Book Exchange" and "Join APO!!!" -- dates, times, and locations of
BookEx, open meetings, and open projects (a recent, clever addition?). The
appropriate people (BookExComm and the MVP) should figure out what
information they want to have printed, and the sooner the better, because
it's pretty hard to print something if you don't know what it is.
It would be nice to have the cards printed by the day before Reg Day, so I
don't have to panic, but 8:30 am on Reg Day (September 7th) would be a
hard deadline. If for some reason the press can't do it, try to let me
know by August 20th.
If we want more cards than that, let me know.
Thanks, all.
