(HINT: anyone want to do this job as a training or qualifying run?)
Hi Chris,
I am willing to supervise the business cards for your friend as a
training or qualifying run.
Unless and until a trainee, expresses a willingness to do the business
cards, I can't give you any idea of when they might be printed. I can
give you a quote at that time. Probably won't be more then $10.00.
I can't guarantee that the quality will be up to commercial standards.
If your friend want to pass the APOster press shop by, please let us
know.
I do not take this kind of job on. Partly, 'cause it's roughly
equivalent to asking AX to come and help build a deck at your friend's
house 'cause AX has carpentry tools and carpentry experience. AX
should be able to find such training at non-profits.
To: apo-printshop@MIT.EDU:
What Lori, Mitch, and Ellen has said about AX doing this kind of
for-profit job is true as far as it goes. But there is more to
mention. I'll comment further when I have some more time.
