Hmm... I wonder what ever happened to "three weeks notice, please." In
any case, he'd like them for next weekend. I don't really feel like I'm
going to want to print a job myself next week, and Len's not available to
train until at least Thursday. Given less than 10 days' notice, we're
supposed to charge late fees, which would more than double the price of
their job.
I think it's more valuable to us to get more brothers trained as press ops
than to make ~$10 off of LSC, so I think I'm going to tell him "not by next
weekend, unless it's an emergency, in which case we're going to charge LSC a
lot." Let me know if you think this is wrong.
This job actually amounts to two jobs, each of which could be a training or
a qualifying run. Up to two brothers can be trained at once, though only
one can be qualified at a time. So, this job provides an opportunity for
a bunch of you to get trained. If you're interested in learning to use the
press on this job, please reply to me and tell me what days you'd be able
to spend 4 hours or so working on this in the next few weeks (after Wednesday),
and we'll see what fits Len's schedule.
Mitch

Hi Mitch,
It'd not essential for this weekend, but we'd like to try to have them
printed for next weekend.
Thanks,
Drew
