Hey Everyone,
For those of you who don't know, conclave is a weekend long event for all
the chapters in section 94/96. There are fellowship events, leadership
workshops and of course *lots* of service. Think tiny nationals for those
of you who went to Louisville.
Way back last fall those of us who went to conclave expressed an interest
in hosting the Fall '07 conclave. THREE PEOPLE CAN"T HOST A CONCLAVE
BUT AX *CAN*. And AX plus BU's chapter definitely could!!!
If we host it, there are lots of resources we can tap:
-Section staff for help planning workshops
-past AXs who have helped plan conclaves
-random APO staff who like to host workshops
-maybe asking BU to host a specific event
As a chapter things that we would specifically be responsible for include
things like: logistics, registration, etc...
And just think we have all of summer to do the more serious stuff planning
and such. AND it would be good training opportunity for when *Nationals
comes to Boston* in 2008 ('cause you know AX will be helping with that).
***But the question remains, do we want to host conclave???***
This will be talked about at the chapter meeting (Wed @7) but if you have
any thoughts, comments or concerns before then you can go ahead and email
apo-president (riv and me).
