Officers' reports:

SVP (Barbara): Cambridgeport project fell through. We'll be paint-
ing for MDC at Open Project I, PC'ed by Elth. Open Project
II and III are painting at Somerville Homeless Coalition, PC'ed
by Dima. Open Project IV is landscaping at Welmet, PC'ed by
Gilbert and Andy. Volunteer to PC a project!
MVP (Dave): I need people to talk about APO. This is the way we
get people in through personal contact. More posters will be
available tomorrow. Poster your place. There are only 2 more
open meetings left - one tomorrow and one on Sunday. IC board
is updated. IC panel is being worked on by me. I need to know
if you want t obe a big brother or on MemComm. Will contact
pledges on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
AVP (Gilbert): nothing to report
Treasurer (Henning): Pay your debts and dues!
APOcEd (Bert): APOC is out! Submit articles (should always do)!
President (Kate): Congrats to Bridget and Barbara to receive the
Joe Scarlon awards for membership recruitment. National stuff:
no serving alcohol to pledges; national convention in Dallas De-
cember 27-30 - electing representatives in 4 weeks; deadline for
amendment is 9/29 - amendment to be admitted: to make blind-
folding optinal during pledge ceremonies. We have a visitor -
Rich Donovan, who will be hanging out at MIT.

Book Exchange (Kevin): We totalled $8,200 sales of books in 2 days.
Book Exchange will run till next Tuesday. Takedown will hap-
pen at 5pm on Tue. Signup on (half) empty slots! Thanks to
everyone who helped.
(Reg Day) Hannah: Reg Day happened! Thanks to wonderful sub-
PC's.

Kate: No standing policy approval for this term because it hasn't gone
outof date yet. Junior officer election commenses!

Dave for various beginning-of-term projects, Hannah for Reg
Day, and Kevin for Book Exchange.

Kate: All meetings will be held on Tuesdays at 7:30pm from now on.
Jeff: Sign up for book exchange!
Ezra: Open Fellowship Event is next Thursday 9/15. We don't have
a location yet. It will probably a games party.
Barbara: Monday 9/19 is a Institute holiday. We'll have a find-a-
project fellowship event in office. Please come! This Saturday's
painting project: meet at 9am in office.
Jeff: We should move UmocComm to another time because Richard
is not here.
Charley: I want to make Chapter Weekend into a separate 2-day
service project and a 1-day fellowship event. [many happy faces]
Dave: Open Meetings on Thursday and Sunday at 6pm at PDR1/2.

Amy: Technique Open House this Saturday at 5pm. Come by and eat
and learn.
Emily: Baker Dining Hall is open. It is good.
bert: I have a thesis advisor now, but he's not happy.
Ping: Moving sucks. Thesis will suck.
Ezra: Congratulations to junior officers.
Dave: Thesis does suck but I need one. Sunday is the first ballroom
dancing workshop. You should go!
Kevin: Sat. is first Chess Club meeting. It's not as scary as it looks.
Henning: Join fencing. You can scare people.
Cathy: Join rifle. You can scare people, too!
bert: I will gladly accept help from the rifle and fencing teams.
Bridget: Nichols is planning to secede from the rest of Senior House!
