Hi! While I was at Nationals, I had this great idea for a service project
on campus: Facilities Appreciation Day. The idea is to recognize the
people who work long and odd hours to keep our campus clean and working.
My current plan is to do this by running a "Smile/say thank you to a
facilities worker today" publicity campaign and handing out cookies and
cards to Facilities employees (ideally as an open project, with lots of
random people helping out with cookiebaking and distribution). I've met
with an important Facilities guy who's helping me with a lot of the
logistics, and I'm really excited about this project.
I'd like to have a few people to help brainstorm and bounce ideas off of.
If you want to help, either let me know or blanche yourself onto
i-heart-physplant :)
