Administrative  notes:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Start: 7:00 pm; Present: Barbara, Yale, Kevin , Rachel, Dave, Gilbert,
Ezra, Joe Kuchta
Officers'  reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SVP (Barbara): I've got projects and PC's for two out of three Open
       Projects. I need someone to help Elth find a project for Septem-
       ber 10th, and I need an ambitious PC or two to PC a double-
       project on the 17th and 18th of September at the Somerville
       Homeless Coalition. I still need a PC for the Freshman Essay
       Evaluation. All you really need to do is make wake-up calls. Let
       me know!
       Anyone who wants to help verify/update/athenaize the SVP
       files should let me know.

MVP (Dave): I will think about informal [pre-]Open Meetings at
       dorms where we don't have many brothers. Plan to pick photos
       for slide shows, think about IC panel design, and define Midway
       handouts.

AVP (Gilbert): Started cleaning up locker. We have 2 desks and
       electricity at Midway.

Treasurer (Kevin): Assorted national forms arrived.

FC (Rachel): Open Study Break on late Thur. 9/15 (to avoid Yom
       Kippur and other parties). Pledge Article Meal likely to be on
       Wed. 10/4.

Dave: Let's have a brother-get-together dinner trip on Fri. 9/2 to
       reinstate the message that the chapter is back and remind people
       to come to Reg. Day.

FC (Rachel): Will have a LSC movie trip on Sun. 9/4 also in case
       people can't make dinner trip.

Committee  reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Book Exchange (Kevin):  Already sold a $1 book. Signup sheet avail-
       able. Plan to set up office hours at around 12-4pm a week before
       Book Exchange, and in the evenings after Book Exchange for
       people to drop off/pick up books and checks.
Chapter Weekend (Ezra):   Mass Jam will have 9200 boy scouts.  Ac-
       tivity times are Fri.  2-5pm, Sat.  10am-1pm, Sun.  2-5pm; and
       clean up on Mon.  We need to bring our own tents.  Will need
       standard health forms. MIT safety insurance covers us. Can get
       reimbursed up to $200 per event.  Activity turnout is approx-
       imately 800 people/hr.  Need to have a count of people going
       by the first weekend of Sept. to reserve space. Will go to their
       meeting this Sunday. [Thanks Joe for driving.]
Meeting:   Let's try our best to make this happen for project variety.
       Ezra/Dave will try contacting the Region for more people to
       help.
Old  Business:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ezra:  Office door doesn't close.

Announcements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Joe:  Talbot house won't be available until next May.
Dave:  Brother's discontent about chapter might be very subtle. Please
       listen carefully to new brothers/pledges.
PFTGOTO:
Dave:  My phone number has changed.
Rachel:   I know because I helped Monty, Ping, Dave, and Jonathan
