Starting tomorrow at around noon, I will have the Book Exchange ledger and
envelopes set up in the office so people can start leaving books to sell.
The ledger and stuff will be on the table under the chalkboard.
If you are in the APO Office and someone comes by wanting to drop off books,
you should:
1) Get them to fill out a sales form AND an envelope.
2) Make sure they sign the sales form and check one of the boxes at the
bottom. (This is the one thing which frequently gets forgotten.)
3) Give them an instructions sheet. This tells them, among other things, when
their check and/or unsold books will be available.
4) Make sure they put their sales form # and prices in the books, too.
This is just a summary to remind you. There will be more detailed instructions
in the office for those who have never done this before, etc. Please use them
if you're not sure what you're doing.
Also, last night at ExecComm we decided that, to make life easier for people
wanting to sell books, we will be keeping office hours from 12-4 pm on the
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday prior to Book Exchange. At least one brother
needs to be in the office throughout these times. I will be posting a sign
up sheet in the office for this.
I encourage you to also bring in your own books to sell, and tell your friends.
Word of mouth publicity works great!
Thank you for your help everyone!
YiLFS,
Kevin
