[The AVP has been lame enough to procrastinate until now to type in the
minutes of the last execcomm. Sorry. (But then I still make it before the
"next meeting" as I promised Kate :) Take note that there are quite a
number of things that we said we would do over this summer but haven't done
yet. As we are in the last third of the summer, please do plan to
accomplish as many of these things as possible. --Gilbert]

Officers' reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MVP (Dave): I plan to work on the Pledge Manual and think about
the pledging program. Should we hold Open Meetings at dorms
- especially west campus (as we usually hold Open Mtgs. at
8-105 which is more east)? I need brothers to help me out if I
am to increase the number of Open Mtgs. to 6.
Richard: It's easier to make to one if there are more meetings.
Kevin: Once you've prepared one meeting, it takes incremental amount
effort to do more. Reserve rooms anyway, but if the extra meet-
ings bust, they bust.
MVP (Dave): These extra dorm meetings are essentially the same as
the on-campus ones.
Yale: Way back then, brothers did a hospitality sweep with food at
dorms and brothers would point frosh to the 3 Open Mtgs. to
meet the rest.
Barbara: Even if it takes only incremental effort, you should ask
brothers to take more commitment.
SVP (Barbara): The camp for juvenile delinquents want us to do
chapter weekend stuff during the fall. I'll send survey out for
service program. Please tell me what service projects you know
is out there. I'll plan some summer service projects and figure
out what to do for the fall.
Dave: Epsilon Delta is the psyched host for the fall Sectional Service
Project. I will think about sectional project/sectional fellowship
event over the summer.
Treasurer (Kevin): Sent mail to people owing money. DJR order
going out next week.
AVP (Gilbert): Dealt with ASA forms and reserving rooms. We got
w20-400 for chapter meetings after all. Will work on my hand-
writing over the summer since I can't read it myself. apo-summer
will take effect this weekend. Mail sent to apo-news will be for-
warded to apo-summer.
Kate: What are they going to do with the activity letters/booklets to
freshmen?
Rachel: Overheard that they will reuse last year's. Next year will have
new stuff.
FC (Rachel): Fellowship event during summer: Esplanade fireworks
observing.
athletic clined - lots of APO type). Meet in front of w20 at
Comm? Will re-schedule later if needed. Will send PMD mail
about the party and tell them to reply to Dave/Ping.
