Hi all,
The yearly 'Elephant Walk' of animals headed along Mass Ave. to the
circus is scheduled for tomorrow morning at around 10:00 a.m. See the
attached press release. [I think that this is the first time that
we've received a release on this.... it's from the TD Banknorth Garden
(Formerly The Fleet Center)]. Great to have the heads up!

***THE CIRCUS IS COMING! COME SEE THE ANNUAL ANIMAL WALK FROM
CAMBRIDGE TO THE TD BANKNORTH GARDEN!
WHAT: The Elephants from the 135th edition of the Ringling Bros. and
Barnum & Bailey circus will walk from their trains in Cambridge to
their temporary residence in the TD Banknorth Garden.
WHO: 10 Elephants on foot, 15 horses and 3 ponies plus their handlers
walk through the streets of Cambridge and Boston to the TD Banknorth
Garden.
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 5 at approximately 10:00 A.M.
WHERE: Best Viewing Areas:
Along Memorial Drive in between the Mass Ave/Harvard Bridge and the
Msgr O'Brien Highway/Charles River Bridge and in front of the Museum
of Science on Msgr O'Brien Highway.
Walking Route:
The animals will depart Pacific Ave in Cambridge then turn right onto
Albany St then right onto Mass Ave. They will turn left on Memorial
drive and stay on Memorial Drive to the Charles River Bridge on Msgr
O'Brien Highway. They will turn right to cross the Charles River
Bridge and pass in front of the Museum of Science. They will then go
down Martha Road and take a left on Nashua Street to the Garden ramp.
WHY: The Circus is coming to the TD Banknorth Garden for 15
performances, Oct. 6- 15. Tickets are $13.50, $18.50, $24.50,
$41.50(VIP), $71.50(Front Row), and $96.50(Circus Celebrity), and are
available at the TD Banknorth Garden Box Office, all Ticketmaster
outlets, by calling (617) 931-2000 or online at
