Coming up in service:
This Sunday Oct. 1: Bread and Jams
Nick is the PC so email him for RSVPs or questions. There are two
shifts. Meet in the office at 1:20pm for the first shift or 4:20pm for
the second shift. Feel free to go to both shifts. The first shift
entails cooking a dinner for ~80 people. The second shift entails
serving said dinner to the homeless.
Oct. 6-7: Chapter Weekend
Sheets is the PC. We'll leave Friday night and spend the night in a
cabin at Camp Wanocksett in New Hampshire. Eat dinner and play board
games. Saturday we'll be doing some construction work on an ampitheater
and possibly also a ropes course.
Saturday Oct. 21: Prison Books Program *This needs a PC*
We'll be leaving from the office at 9:30am and should be back around
3pm. We'll have lunch while we're there. Fill book requests for prisoners.
Sunday Oct. 29: Charles River Conservancy
Vlad is PCing this. Help clean up and prune trees along the Charles River.
Oct. 30-Nov. 3: UMOC *This needs manpower and awards subPCs*
Brian is the PC. Ugliest Man on Campus charity fundraiser, where man
includes woman.
If anyone has ideas or suggestions for other service projects, let me know.
