Hi all,

We have service projects. You want to help with them. There are lots of
projects which need PCs. I'll be reluctant to continue scheduling
projects if I don't get PCs for the ones that are already scheduled.

The National Braille Press project will be leaving from the office at
5pm tomorrow, and the Greater Boston Food Bank project will be leaving
from the office at 11:45am this Saturday. Looking forward...

Book Exchange PickUp Hours -- next week Monday-Friday 12-2pm and 6-8pm
(I think those are the times we decided on...)
This should be self-explanatory. Kelsey will be handling manpower so
send her your hours.

Bread and Jams -- Sunday Oct. 1st, 2pm-7:30pm **This project needs a PC**
This organization "assists people with the transitions in their lives
when they find themselves at risk or homeless." I don't think we've done
projects with them before, but they seem like a good organization. They
serve dinner to about 80 people every Sunday. We'll be helping to cook
the meal and then serving it. You should help with this if you like to cook.

Chapter Weekend -- Friday-Saturday Oct. 6-7 **This project needs a PC.
It could also use food and transportation subPCs**
Spend a night at a boy scout camp and then help do some sort of
maintainence work (hopefully involving power tools, because everyone
loves power tools). A good chance to get spend time with brothers. Bring
board games. Play Apples to Apples. It's a 4-day weekend so you'll still
get a chance to relax at MIT afterwards.

Charles River Conservancy -- Sunday Oct. 29 **Yes, this also needs a PC**
Help clean up along the Charles River. This tends to be fun outdoors work.

UMOK!!! -- Monday-Friday Oct. 30- Nov. 3 **PCs and subPCs needed!!!**
Charity fundraiser. There is much planning to be done. I'd like to get a
few people to help organize it. Decide what the competition will be,
help get candidates, and so on. I'd like work on this to get started
soon so please reply to me if you're interested.

That's all for now.

YiLFS,
Irene
