Hey everybody. Term is here, and with it comes our semesterly schedule of
service. One of the first projects on the menu is at the Greater Boston
Food Bank. They take donated food from supermarkets and the like, sort it,
and send it to the people that need it. Judging from past experience,
we'll probably be sorting food on conveyor belts. It's actually kind of
exciting, because who doesn't dream of conveyor belts of food?
Anyway, this shindig is going down on Saturday the 16th, from 11:45 to
about 4:30. Let's meet at the office at 10:45 that day. We'll be taking
the #1 bus: the fare is $0.90 each way.
Please email me if you plan to come. Email me even if you signed up at
the meeting last night. Email me if you think you might want to come.
Remember, this is a saturday morning project at the start of term that's
not ass-early. Many of you should be able to make it.
