A few frequently asked questions:
Q1. How do I open Book Exchange?
A1. Go to the office and get someone with safe access to take the cashbox
out of the safe. It should already be seeded. Next, call the CAC at
x3-3913 and say that you're calling from APO and would like to be let into
the Mezzanine Lounge. Then, take the cart with the computer, Bookex
Binder O'Doom, and cashbox downstairs and wait to be let in; start the
computer up and you're on your way.
Q2: How do I close Book Exchange?
A2: The same way you opened it. Get everything on the cart and shut down
the lights (far end of the room), then call the CAC at x3-3913 and say
you're from APO and you'd like them to lock up the Mezzanine Lounge. Wait
until they stop by and lock it, then head up to the office to count money.
Q3: What if nobody stops by to work hours and I have to leave?
A3: Kick everyone out that's not a brother and call the CAC to close the
Lounge. Wait until they do. Then bring the binder, computer, and
cashbox up to the office.
Q4: What if I can't answer someone's question?
A4: Refer them to Brown, the chair, and ask them to send email to
book-exchange@mit.edu.
Cheers!
