APO will once again be running Fulton's Folly, a social event and firework
viewing cabal on the 4th of July. An advance battalion will secure a
large territory on the Esplanade around 6:45am. Further waves of people
are encouraged to show up any time after that. When it's finally dark
enough, we'll have a great view of the shiny explosions over the river.
To find us: we try to sit as close to the barge as possible (it's the big
"T" on this map:
http://july4th.org/generaleventinfo/boatingrestrictions/boatingmap.html).
We're on the Boston side of the river, so cross the bridge, turn left, and
walk along the grass until you see us with our blue and yellow banner and
cerulean tents.
Things you *really* should bring:
-water
-sunscreen
Things that could be fun to bring:
-your friends!
-extra blankets to sit on (we'll have some also)
-amusing games, stories, or other entertainment
Hope to see you on Tuesday!
