Hey Brothers,
Here's what's up in terms of upcoming service:
NOTE: term is almost over, this is probably the last batch of
projects for the term, if you're a pledge, make sure you've met the
pledge requirements!!!
(requirements: ~6 projects, PC an event, learn a chapter skill,
attend 3+ chapter meetings, attend 3+ fellowship events, see
http//mit.edu/riv/Public/apo/manual.pdf)
---Prison Books Program---
Tuesday April 18th (next tues., no classes!)
Leaving office at 5:15, getting back around 10ish
Picking out books for prisoners in the Mass. Penal system
---Easton Children's Museum---
Saturday April 22nd
Leaving office at 9ish, getting back 4ish
Cleaning up their street and parking lot, perhaps some exhibit maintenance
---Charles River Conservancy---
Saturday April 29th
Time TBD (probably 10am-2pm)
Cleaning up the Cambridge stretch of the Charles River
---Cradles to Crayons---
Thursday May 4th
Leaving office at 5:15 getting back at 9ish
Arranging/fixing up gifts for underprivileged children and mothers
PLEDGES:
None of the above projects have PC's. If you haven't PC'd something
this term, it's a pledge requirement, and the above projects are ripe
for the PCing.
All you'd pretty much have to do is poke people and take RSVP's. A
couple of the projects involve getting food for the participants.
Email me if you're interested.
DRIVERS:
Easton Children's museum needs you! It's a ~40 minute drive to
Easton, MA, you'd be reimbursed for gas and such! Please volunteer,
the project can't happen without you.
