What's Up with Crystal These Days...?

Howdy there! You may be wondering what I have been up to lately and you may
not. For those of you who don't know me, feel free to delete this message at
any time. For everyone else, I've got great news! I'm going down South to
Ecuador this August and will be there for 2 years and 3 months as a Water and
Sanitation Engineer (with the Peace Corps). If you want to write me during
this period of my life, you can always send letters to my home address or my

I found out sometime the middle of April when I was in Madrid. Yes, I just
got back from Europe and had a wonderful time. I went on a tour con mi madre
of Portugal, Spain and Morocco. It was pretty interesting. I met a lot of
wonderful people from everywhere (tons from Salt Lake City, Bryan), and saw
so many great sites. (Oh, we went to Gibraltor too.)
Then I met Sara (Howe), and we went on tour using Eurrail from Spain to Nice,
France, and all through Italy. That was pretty amazing. Once again we met a
ton of people, but here we never planned anything more than a day in advance,
and therefore got into some crazy adventures.
But I loved every one of the countries that I visited. It was so much fun
attempting to talk in Arabic, Portugese, Spanish, French, and Italian. Once
I got back to the States, I kind of felt funny, almost let down. There is
something quite invigorating about travelling abroad. But I was happy to get
back and now I've got a list of easily 100 things that I have to do. Sigh...
So, I'll just tell you my plans and be off. I'll be up there starting Friday
night, May 19th until the next Saturday. If you want to see me, give me a
call at 472-7261 during that time, or send me e-mail.
Can't wait to see everyone. Maybe I'll even have pictures by then. We'll see!
