Hey Alpha Chi:
So I just got wind of a National Braille Press Project coming up this Thursday,
from 4:30 to 8:30, that will involve mailing Braille alphabet cards to
interested individuals across the country. NBP experienced a huge surge in
interest after Google featured Louis Braille and the NBP on their search page,
and they need 5-10 volunteers.
I won't be able to make it, but if you'd be interested in volunteering, mail me
ASAP (even if that meets wednesday evening), and I'll point you in the right
direction.
The NBP is located about a 20 minute walk into Boston down Mass Ave, so it's not
a problem to get to (and it's cheap). And if you can't make it there by 4:30,
I'm sure it's OK if you show up late.
