MIT is hosting the state Ocean Sciences Bowl THIS Saturday, March 4. Which
means that Friday afternoon, there's a lot of organizing that needs
doing. Come and help!

I know it's last minute, but really, what would you be doing this Friday
from 3-7 pm anyway? Going to class? Lame.

YILFS,
kaull

I will need people to stuff bags (messenger bags to be stuffed with a
variety of
items), make name badges (using a laminator, hole punch, and affixing to
lanyards), photocopying/collating question packets and overhead transparencies,
organizing boxes with supplies for each competition room, make a trip to A/V to
pick up easels, perhaps making signs.

All of this will be taking place this Friday, March 3rd at MIT Sea Grant on the
3rd floor of E38 (the MIT Press Bookstore building in Kendall) beginning around
3pm and continuing until about 7pm. Any time within this period is fine,
although I'd like to know when to expect volunteers.

When people get to the 3rd floor of E38, they need to ring the bell to be
buzzed
in. work will be set up in the conference room, which is immediately to the
right once you get through the door.

Let me know when to expect people and how many (volunteers need not arrive or
depart all at once).

If any volunteers are interested in helping out on competition day (Sat, March
4th), I always can use help with set-up (early morning) and take down
(7:30pm-ish). If anybody wants to help Saturday during the day, we can talk
about it on Friday afternoon/evening.
